TERMS OF SERVICE — Big Lake Coffee

1. About us Big Lake Coffee is operated by Kaffefolk AB (559514-8841), registered in Sweden. Contact: biglakecoffee@gmail.com.

2. Scope These terms apply to all purchases made through biglakecoffee.se. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. For B2B purchases, separate terms may apply.

3. Products We sell specialty coffee and related products. As coffee is a perishable food product, sealed items that have been opened cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. All product descriptions and images are as accurate as possible; minor variations in roast batches may occur due to the nature of small-batch roasting.

4. Prices & payment All prices are displayed in SEK and include Swedish VAT (25%) where applicable. For international orders, local VAT or duties may apply — see our Shipping Policy. We accept payment via Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, Credit Cards, PayPal. For the most recent list of available payment methods, check our checkout page. Payment is processed securely at checkout.

5. Orders & confirmation An order confirmation email is sent upon successful payment. This constitutes acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to cancel orders in cases of pricing errors, stock issues, or suspected fraud, in which case a full refund will be issued.

6. Delivery Delivery terms, costs, and estimated timeframes are set out in our [Shipping Policy]. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.

7. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers) If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (Lag om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler, 2005:59).

Exceptions: Sealed coffee and food products that have been opened after delivery are exempt from the right of withdrawal for hygiene reasons.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us at biglakecoffee@gmail.com. An email constitutes a valid withdrawal notice; use of the EU model withdrawal form is optional.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer (50 SEK flat fee deducted from refund). For defective or incorrect items, return costs are borne by Big Lake Coffee.

8. Refunds Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods. Processing times at your bank may vary.

9. Warranties & defective goods Under Swedish consumer law (Konsumentköplagen), you have a 3-year statutory warranty on goods. If your product is defective, contact us at biglakecoffee@gmail.com and we will repair, replace, or refund as appropriate.

10. Liability Our liability is limited to the value of the goods purchased. We are not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, or consequential damages, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

11. Complaints & dispute resolution We aim to resolve all complaints within 14 days. If we cannot reach a resolution, EU consumers may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platformec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Swedish consumers may also contact Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN)arn.se.

12. Governing law These terms are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes not resolved through ARN or ODR shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Swedish courts.

13. Changes to these terms We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of your order applies to that purchase.
