Located in the northern hills of Nueva Segovia comes some of the greatest specialty coffees of Nicaragua. Long relationships with coffee farmers have built up a wide variety of coffees to choose from with some amazing processing methods.
This honey processed coffee from Samuel Zavala has been mastered to its perfection. The variety Maracaturra is also known for it's larger size and grade and when grown proper and roasted slowly, it has an amazing flavour profile. This grade has been named "Junior" by Samuel himself.
Notes of caramel, dark chocolate, bitter almond & dried citrus peel.
